G.T.C.S. (General Terms & Conditions of Sales)
These conditions of sale are modifiable at any time, and the applicable conditions will be those in force at the date when the reservation is made.
ARTICLE 1- RATES
The rates indicated are in €uro and include VAT applicable on the day of the reservation. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new legal taxes introduced by the competent authorities, will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated on the date of billing.
Rates are per room for the number of persons indicated and according to the period selected and do not include options (unless otherwise stated).
The tourist tax, due per day and per person of age, is not included in the price and must be paid directly on site.
Some services may be subject to a supplement and may be subject to change without notice, without any responsibility on the part of the hotel.
The ½ board and evening-stop (upon presentation of a business card) include breakfast and a meal (dinner or lunch), excluding drinks.
No stay booked before the implementation of a possible promotional offer will be refunded, even partially.
ARTICLE 2- RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT METHODS
Reservations can be made on the website www.centreplage.com, by telephone, by e-mail or by post.
The reservation will only be effective if it is guaranteed by the client, either by communicating a credit card number with a validity date or by paying a deposit, according to the dates and possible promotions and after receiving a detailed reservation confirmation.
Payment for all services (or balance of services if a deposit has been paid) will be made directly upon arrival at the hotel (exceptions made for reservations prepaid at the time of booking).
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation if the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation is incomplete.
Reservations regardless of their origin will be payable in € only.
The hotel Centre Plage accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and has a secure reservation system (SSL) that protects and encrypts all sensitive data transmitted to the reservation to prevent disclosure to a third party.
Upon registration of the reservation, a credit card charge authorization will be made. This will be done for information purposes, and will not be a charge to the account except in the following cases:
- Promotional offers
- Credit card validity date prior to the arrival date.
- Quotation indicating a request for a deposit
- In July and August: A 30% deposit is taken at the time of booking (excluding tourist taxes and any options) and at least the amount of 2 nights.
The deposit is not refundable, whatever the reason for cancellation. However, we can modify the reservation dates, within a reasonable period of time after the date initially planned for your stay, depending on availability.
The customer is the only one responsible for his choice of the services and their adequacy with his needs, so that the responsibility of the hotel Centre Plage cannot be sought in this respect.
ARTICLE 3- MAJOR FORCE
One understands by force majeure any event external to the parts presenting a character at the same time unforeseeable and insurmountable which prevents the customer in the realization of the voyage, to carry out whole or part of the obligations envisaged by the contract. This will be the case in particular in the event of a strike of means of transport, hotel staff, government or public riots.
ARTICLE 4- MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF STAY
Any modification or cancellation of reservation will have to be the object of a request by email to email@example.com or by mail.
The request will become effective only when the hotel Centre Plage will have confirmed its acceptance in writing.
In case of modification or cancellation of stay, the following conditions apply (except in case of force majeure stipulated above):
For any request made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date, the amount of the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show on the scheduled arrival date, your credit card will be charged for the first night.
Any stay started is due in full.
For reservations made via our partners’ website, cancellation must be made via this site. The cancellation conditions that apply are then specific to the partner and may therefore be different from those of the Centre Plage hotel.
In case of extension of the stay, the customer will have to inform the reception of the hotel in the morning at 10 am at the latest the day of the planned departure, in order to know the availabilities.
ARTICLE 5- THE HOTEL AND THE SERVICES
The children’s breakfast rate applies to children up to and including 10 years old.
For safety and hygiene reasons, our friends the animals are not allowed in the breakfast room.
Rooms are available from 4 pm and must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure. A supplement may be charged if the maximum check-out time is not respected. In case of arrival after 9 pm, the reception must be notified.
The client accepts and agrees to use the room as a good father. Also, any behavior contrary to good morals and public order will lead the hotelier to ask the client to leave the establishment without any compensation or refund if a payment has already been made.
ARTICLE 6 – ACCOMMODATION
In case of non-availability of the hotel Centre Plage or in case of force majeure, the latter reserves the possibility to accommodate the customer totally or partially in a hotel of equivalent or higher category, offering services of the same nature. The transfer will then be at the expense of the hotelier who will not be sought in payment of any additional compensation.
ARTICLE 7- COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be addressed to Hotel Centre Plage by registered letter with return receipt, and this within 15 days following the departure of the stay being the subject of the aforementioned complaint. Passed this time, no complaint could be taken into account.
ARTICLE 8- DATA PROCESSING AND FREEDOM
In application of the law 78-17, known as “informatique et libertés”, customers are informed that their reservation is subject to computerized personal data processing. Users have the right to access and rectify the data entered, which can be exercised at the head office: SAS HELIOS – 4, allée des Palmiers – 66700 ARGELES/MER. It is specified that this information is not communicated to third parties.
The Centre Plage hotel offers wifi internet access. The customer user agrees that the computer resources made available to him is in no way used for reproduction, representation, provision or communication to the public of works or objects protected by copyright, by a neighboring right such as texts, images, photographs, audio-visual musical works, software and video games, without the authorization of the holders of the rights provided for in Book I and II of the code of intellectual property when such authorization is required. In accordance with the law, a traceability of the Internet accesses of the customers is kept.
The establishment Centre Plage has a system of video surveillance within the common parts of the building.
ARTICLE 9- RESPONSIBILITIES
The hotel declines any responsibility in case of theft, loss, damage of the effects belonging to the customers during their stay.
The client will be held responsible for any damage, deterioration or vandalism that may occur due to the occupation of the premises and/or the participants and/or the staff under their responsibility, to the movable, decorative and real estate goods belonging or not to the hotel. Therefore, the hotel Centre Plage can ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation and without any refund of the current stay, and to refund the damage caused by these acts.
Art.10- APPLICABLE LAW
The present General Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. This is the case for the rules of substance as well as for the rules of form. Disputes are under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
