The marina of Port-Vendres is a  port of call appreciated by everyone who enjoy sailingon the opens-seas. The closest French continental port of the lands of Maghreb and of the Balearic Islands, Port-Vendres is a privileged stop for the cruises. Its typical mediterrean-like fishing port is, with a 4000 tonnes of fish landed and commercialized, the first fishing port of the Roussillon. Along the quays in the heart of the streets, different monuments will tell you the story of this port famous since the Antiquity.

Sea-side, discover the marine reserve of the Vermilion Coast and its undersea treasures, the cove of Paulilles and its walks, the sea-fishing or sea-outing, the renting of boats ... : every marine pleasure is within your easy reach ! Port-Vendres holds its name from Portus Venéris, the port of Venus; it's the last deep-sea french port before Spain. The traditional catalan town remains animated all year long by its port activities.

Mountain-side, let yourself be tempted by a walk through the vineyards until the hamlet of Cospron or the Madeloc tower.
